Help Al's Family Through This Tough Time

Just days before Christmas our dad was involved in a devastating freak accident. He’s currently being treated for a traumatic brain injury at NYP Columbia in their neurosurgical ICU. This unimaginable time has left our entire family speechless as we try our best to navigate the care my dad needs. Anyone who knows our dad knows that he doesn’t have a mean or negative bone in his body. He’d give a stranger the shirt off his back if he saw they needed it more than him, and wouldn’t think twice about it. He lives to see the laughter of his grandchildren and would spend all his time with his family if he could. All Al ever wanted or needed was for the people he loves to be happy, and maybe a hot cup of coffee. While he is in the absolute best place possible for the current care he needs, the road ahead is long and full of many unknowns. What is known is that my mom does not deserve the number of medical bills already piling up, on top of all other expenses that are needed. My siblings and I are hoping to help lessen that burden on her with the help of our friends and family.
