Help Altadena Family Rebuild After Eaton Fire

Hello everyone, My name is Josefina Hernandez. I'm asking for donations for my family to start our life over again, we lost our home to the Eaton fire in Altadena CA. Together with that, our jobs are gone as we made a living working in housekeeping and my father in landscaping in the neighboring cities that were also affected, our bosses are not in the position to help us out, their homes were also destroyed and some damaged badly. I know that there's many families in our same situation whose only hope is our community's aid and generosity. We are hard working people who have never asked for anything free, but this situation surpasses anything we ever thought we'd go through. We are taking this day by day but right now our future is uncertain, we hope to find jobs and a place to live. Many of you will understand how as a family that lives paycheck to paycheck, we are in a desperate situation, we were only able to drive away in our car which is our home at the moment. It's my parents, my 2 children and myself. Thanks to everyone that finds it in their hearts to help and may your generosity be rewarded. We don't have many friends or acquaintances, we have only been in the country 2 years and pretty much just know the people we work for, our community is our only hope for help.

The funds raised through this account will be deposited to my good friend's account, I do not have a bank account to my name, so she has been cashing out and giving me the funds. During the past few weeks, I have been using these money to purchase clothing, basic toiletries, medicine for my kids who have gotten sick.
