Help my sister&mother rebuild their lives from the LA fires

there are so many feelings happening right now but one thing for sure is the overwhelming gratitude i have for all of the donors.

currently , my family still stand in a situation with so many unknowns.

the damage & reparations are exceeding our expectations.

the non-existent fire insurance and other building laws will not cover their losses, with potentially months of displacement, and increasing health needs for my mom.

i have raised the fundraising goal as the damage costs are much higher and length of rebuilding their lives to some sort of normalcy will take longer than expected.

My sister, Alex and (my mother who still doesn't know what is happening), & I are so appreciative in all the support.

My mom, sister and her husband (& 2 cats) unfortunately lost their apartment in Altadena due to the Eaton Fire. They evacuated two days ago in a hurry with nothing but a change of clothes, and 12 hrs upon evacuating their entire area of residence was burned down.

Currently they do not have enough resources (money, clothes, essentials) to carry on and I'm calling upon all you guys to help!

My mother is bedridden and beyond the medication , will need to replace many medical devices as well as daily essentials.

They've lost everything as the apartment burnt down to the ground and they've been temporarily relocated , the place that they've relocated to does not have power.

Please help us with any amount that you can donate. My family have to start completely over in so many ways.

My mom, sister and brother in law have lost all of our clothing, shoes, toiletries, medicine, herbs, cooking materials, food, books, the list goes on. everything !

There's also an essential shortlist of items we are asking for , including:

-TENA brand, incontinence underwear for women, super plus absorbency , Small/medium size

-$$$ to fund for new wheelchair (drive brand)

-$$$ to fund for new medical/electric bed

-$$$ to fund the rental for electric stair lift for disabled

-clothing for female (XS/S) and male (XL), including underwear and socks

-wipes & masks

-blanket/towels

-toiletries

-cat food (specific to urinary care kind)

-cat litter

-water/food

In any case, funds will be helpful to support the above and moving forward.

The city of Altadena also did not renew their fire insurance for 2025, so no resident in the city was able to receive it as they knew the mountain fires have been at high risk. This may leave my family with no funds from the natural causes..

I'm not one to ask but this tragic set back has left me helpless!
