Help Altadena’s Kids Heal Through Baseball!
Donation protected
On January 7th 2025, an unprecedented firestorm changed the lives of thousands of families in the Altadena area. Homes, businesses, schools, parks and favorite places were destroyed or damaged, and our beautiful community was disrupted to its core. Among the casualties was the local baseball field — where many Altadena kids have played every season since they first stepped up to bat in T-ball.
But despite the loss, there’s a way for us to turn this hardship into a moment of healing and hope. A team of 11 kids will travel to New York this summer to the Cooperstown All-Star Village Summer Baseball Tournament, where they’ll have the chance to represent Altadena, connect with kids from across the country, and, as a team, heal through the sport they love. They’ll even have the opportunity to visit the MLB Hall of Fame!
This trip is more than just a tournament. It’s a chance for these kids to experience joy and unity, create lasting friendships, and leave behind the trauma of this disaster, if only for a while. But they can’t do this without you. The financial strain of rebuilding has been overwhelming for many families, and we need your help to make this dream a reality.
What Your Donation Will Fund:
• Tournament fees for all kids and coaches (including accommodations)
• Flights for kids to travel
• Tournament gear for the team
We understand that this trip won’t fix everything, but it will give these kids a much-needed opportunity to heal, rebuild their spirits, and create core memories they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Please donate today and share this fundraiser with your friends and loved ones. Your support will help bring a smile to the faces of kids who need it now more than ever.
Thank you for your generosity. #AltadenaStrong ❤️⚾️
