Hello! My name is Alvin Carlisle and I am currently a 3rd year Music Education student at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. My goals and aspirations in music are to become a professional orchestral and musical theater conductor and work on increasing the diversity and accessibility of the field of classical music. To help myself achieve these goals, I applied to the Conductor's Retreat at Medomak in Washington, Maine this summer and was recently accepted with a partial scholarship! I am incredibly grateful to be accepted into this program but, unfortunately, the rest of the tuition and other expenses remain. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has put many people in financial hardships but if you have the means, any donation would be a great help to this endeavor! If you are able to help, you will be helping pay the tuition, pay for a plane ticket and purchase my scores.
