UPDATE ON ALYSSA

Alyssa was sent home from the hospital last nite & is now on hospice. They are saying her time left with us is short. Days to weeks. She fought a very hard fight. Our hearts are breaking. I am going to miss my baby girl so much

I can't believe this is even real & that I am writing this.My heart just aches. Thanks for so much love & support over the past almost 2 years. She is in alot of pain but hospice is helping to make her comfortable. We also have my niece staying with us now to help me with Alyssa.

Please keep the prayers coming for Alyssa. She has been so very strong fighting this agressive cancer.

Alyssa has been a fighter and a survivor since this orginal story. She has unfortunately, been in and out of the hospital in Erie, PA as well, going to Pittsburgh for her health. Recently, she went to the hospital right before Christmas 2022 and has ended up back right after. Thus, is when a MRI was done as her speech had become slurred. Where it was discovered that the cancer has now spread into her brain. Her husband, Austin & her parents, Rhonda & Kevin been there for her every step of the way as she ended up moving back with her parents while Austin could work. But now, things have changed where her health is declining. This family can get any help they can financially as both Austin and Dad, Kevin may need some time off work during this time. An unexpected health/medical scare has happened. Alyssa ended up being air flown to Pittsburgh due to blood clots in her body. She is currently in the ICU being treated. In the meantime, Austin, is there but because of him not being able to work a lot due to Alyssa's cancer treatments and doctor visits. It's been hard on them. And it is not known how long Alyssa will be there. Austin been sleeping in his car. So, if you can spare anything to help, it will greatly appreciated. But doing so will allow Austin be able to stay in a discounted family room/hotel of patients. 

I will update as I can or will when I hear more information on Alyssa's condition.
