Help Alyssa Honor Scott Sanders' Final Wishes

I am Charles Scott Sanders' friend and mother to our daughter, Alyssa. Sadly, Scott passed away on July 11, 2024, in Galveston.

Alyssa has stepped up and made the arrangements with the funeral home to pick up Scott’s remains in South Houston.

Alyssa will return Scott to Burkburnett to be laid to rest with his Mother and Father. We will celebrate his life with a gathering of friends. The time and place will be announced as soon as possible on this page and Facebook.

As you may know, Scott lost both parents by the time he was 19 years old. He was an only child. Grandma Mollie was there for Scott for many years until she passed.

The options given to Alyssa were to transport his body to the funeral home in Burkburnett for cremation (which was very expensive), have the cremation done by a funeral home in Galveston. This is the most cost effective option since Alyssa lives in Houston.

If we are unable to raise enough money before an autopsy is completed, he will be buried in Galveston county, in an unmarked grave.

Please help us raise enough money to bring Scott home, where he belongs in Burkburnett, with his family and friends. No amount is too small as every little bit helps.
