Help Alyssa’s family due to Vermont flooding!

Hey everyone! My names Alyssa and I would like to tell you guys my family’s story! for a while we have lived in Williamstown Vermont. I played lots of sports while in school and we always supported fundraising events and helped even run some, we have been apart of our community and I know we aren’t perfect but no one’s family is. But in July of 2023 there was a catastrophic flood that’s happened and the river got into our trailer for the month after our landlord was making it seem like he was gonna help because our neighbors who live in a trailer right next to us like 1000ft at most we’re back in there’s. But no instead we had to get campers and stay in them on our plot and we decided to keep an escro account incase he would be willing to help, so we stayed in them with running water for a little bit then he turned our water off, which is weird because we were paying that. My mom goes to the town to see what’s going on and a very rude towns member said that he wasn’t paying and the trailer he sold on us and we wouldn’t be able to get it on. Okay so my mom ended up getting a hotel for us to stay in and my step dad stayed with our dogs. And with that we had to go to our friends to do Easter and family events, and we really aren’t able to see each other. We also spend way to much on eating out sense we can’t cook anything other then microwave food at the hotel. It’s just getting old, and it seems like everything is getting hopeless around me so I wanna ask for your guys help. There is a 15 acre plot of land that my family and I would love to get and we have the campers and everything to move to it, and my Step dad and I work full time we can definitely cover everything if we were together but my step dad already has a loan to pay off sense we had to also get a new car after the flood too. So I wanna ask everyone for help, even though in this town It seems like everyone just wants to bring you down because sense the flood and us having campers everyone has been extremely rude to us, even going as far as looking in our campers windows and being on our land and stuff, mind you we have not gotten a notice or anything yet so we still legally live there. I don’t understand it but maybe like I said there will be some kind people who want to help us, so please help us if you would like to. We our hoping to get this plot of land and sense it’s in orange Vermont my brother can stay in the school he loves, I can stay to graduate this year and stay at my job I injoy, and just so we aren’t displaced and actually a family again. once we hit our goal of 50,000 we can get our plot of land and actually be happy again and not have weird and rude neighbors wanna bring us down. And that way we own it and no one can come acting better then us when they are support to be supporting us and helping us get back in our feet.
