Help Alyssa's Family with Urgent Moving & Medical Costs

I never thought I'd be writing this, but here I am.
Hi, I'm Alyssa. My father, who's been the rock of our family for the last 45 years, was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer on May 2nd. It has already traveled to his liver and lymph nodes. His oncologist says that he has about 2-4 months left in him without chemo treatment, which he's chosen to decline. Until that day of diagnosis, he'd been the primary caregiver for my mother, who has had a plethora of health issues over the last year especially, is bed bound, and requires 24/7 care for basic functioning.
My partner, Scott, was fired from his job a couple of weeks ago after being denied FMLA for the time he had taken off of work to take my dad's place in caregiving. Im still working part time as a therapist and taking the full load of organizational and advocacy responsibilities, as well as navigating appointments and most household responsibilities. It's been a trip.
Together, we're getting by but finances are not making ends meet, and we're waiting on unemployment benefits and payment from the NYS CDPAP program for approval to get income for taking care of mom. My parents on the other hand are on a fixed income and have a high spend down for their newly approved Medicaid.
We are short on money for these expenses (moving/packing/wheelchair transport/food) and could use whatever help we can get from our community.
And that's why I'm asking for your help. I'm crowd funding to help pay for moving expenses that we've incurred to move my parents from their current apartment (30 minutes away) to our apartment complex (only one building away!). They need to move so we can care for them with more ease. Our 2.5 year old daughter is most affected by all of this, barely seeing her parents between all the responsibilities, and knowing something is wrong without really knowing what it is. It's heartbreaking.
This GoFundMe account will earn enough money to help us breathe a little as we continue to transition to this new way of life. It will help us afford to spend our last days with Dad and even afford Respite care for the around the clock care we're giving mom until the state helps us pay for an aide. Dad needs a caregiver too as his health is slowly declining.
It is with a loving and grateful heart that I thank you for reading any of this and even considering helping our family. I'm not typically one to ask for money from anyone, but I know my dad is worth it and could use whatever we can fundraise. Any amount you can spare will help with this endeavor. As many of you know, I'm an only child and a mom of a toddler, and I'm working hard right now trying to get my business going, so any help I get of any kind is so, so appreciated.
My father has never been a person to ask for help either, so this is really hard for him. We appreciate compassion that you can spare for this experience, too. Thank you again.
