Help Amai Get the Medical Care She Needs

This GoFundMe page is for Amai, our adorable and friendly dog.

We rescued Amai when she was two years old at Ghost Town Dog Rescue located in Arizona. She was abandoned by the previous owner, and the shelter found our poor girl in a plastic bag with her legs zip-tied together along with her babies that were no more than 2 weeks old. Thankfully, the shelter located them quickly, and all the babies and our Amai survived and were given their forever homes.

She is a sweet girl, which is why her name is Amai (Sweet in Japanese). She is playful and seeks attention for pets or love whenever she can. She often gets zoomies when given good food or when she uses the restroom. She especially gets the zoomies when playing out in the snow, her favorite season of the year. She would take laps around the backyard whenever it snowed and end up with snow all over her fur but would be smiling and panting with happiness from the experience. The best part is her sleeping positions as well. We would always find her in awkward positions, but she would be sleeping away in comfort.

Sadly, our baby girl started showing signs of illness, and that is our current situation. She is currently at the vet, getting the best care we can provide for her, but we are trying to reach out to anyone who can give us a hand. We received an estimate for the steps needed to try and save her and the max it should currently cost is $2509.90. This amount is needed for ultrasound, testing, and medication to figure out what's causing her to be so sick and work towards getting her better.

This happened at a terrible time as we had just lost our jobs not too long ago after signing into a new lease and were without a job for almost a month and a half. This caused us to accrue a large amount of debt, so while we are trying to tackle the debt down, our poor girl ended up getting ill. We do not want to lose her and want to help her in any way possible.
