Help Amanda and her family with gas and expenses

Hi my name is Linda Crase and I am fundraising for Amanda and her family. Amanda was taken to the local hospital on Saturday, January 20th because she was speaking and making no sense. She was also extremely out of breath. Upon exam it was determined that her lungs were full of fluid and her heart was beating ineffectively to pump oxygenated blood to her vital organs. She was transferred to another hospital that had an ICU and was soon sedated and intubated and placed on a ventilator. Her family is on a fixed income and needs help with expenses to travel daily to and from the hospital and to take care of the pets at home. It was first thought that she would only need a couple of days to recuperate and be weaned off of the vent but now she has worsened and will require at least a week on the vent then weaning off and then follow up appointments with pulmonologist and cardiologist. This is barring any more complications. Thank you.

Update: 1/24/23: Amanda is still on the vent but all sedation has been turned off. It is just a waiting game of when she will wake up. She continues to have a fever off and on that's worrisome. She can open her eyes on command but unable to grasp your hand or look at someone on command. I remain prayerful and hopeful that my oldest baby will soon come back to me. I love you so much Amanda!
