Help Amanda & her Girls As She Beats Lymphoma
My very dear friend Amanda was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma recently
in January- a few short weeks ago.
For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human
being. She is cheerful, strong, and always puts her friends and family before
herself.
Her most valued role is that of being a mom. She is a single mother to four
amazing daughters who are very active, especially in tennis and gymnastics.
The type of cancer Amanda has can impact the body’s ability to fight infection
which can potentially be very dangerous, especially in someone with small
children who are constantly exposed to germs; especially with Covid right now.
She began chemotherapy on January 28, 2021 during her eight day hospital
admission and will continue to receive treatment every other week for five
months.
Some of her medical expenses are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, thus, finances are constantly a concern for Amanda as she continues to
fight cancer and care for her daughters at the same time.
Amanda is one of the most selfless people I have ever known, and is always there
to give her love and support to anyone that needs it. She is the mom and friend
who will do anything for anyone, and never puts herself first.
This is hard for her to allow me to write this to ask for help; but she realizes
that it is needed.
If it were any of her friends, co-workers, or church members, she would be the
one organizing this. So, let's help her out, just as we know she would us.
Let's send some of that love and support back to her. Donations will be spent to
help cover medical expenses and the other everyday necessities.
Everything we can do to help surround her with love and security is what is most
important so she can focus on fighting cancer and being a mom to her girls. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Also, please include her and her daughters in your prayers. They appreciate every one of them.
