Help Amanda Overcome Endometriosis Pain

Hello everyone!

My name is Oscar and I am trying to raise money for my wife Amanda's surgery.

Around 10 years ago, my wife started getting really sick all the time and we could never understand why. We spent so much time at emergency rooms, doctor's visits, and even specialists, but no one could give us a straight answer. It was always "could be this," or "have you tried this?" even "there is nothing more we can do for you."

In 2022, I got hired on as an actual employee at work instead of a contractor and got really good medical coverage, so we started throwing whatever money we had to go see the best doctors. By the end of 2023, my wife and I were tired and couldn't figure out what else to do. Somehow we got onto the topic of endometriosis and she got scheduled to be seen by an OBGYN at the beginning of 2024. During this visit, my wife brought up her symptoms to the doctor, they ran some tests, and confirmed she had endometriosis but couldn't tell how bad it was unless she had surgery.

In April 2024, my wife had a hysterectomy. The doctor removed what she could of the endometriosis that was attached to her insides and she was diagnosed with stage 4 endo. After 3 months of recovery and 3 months after that of being pain-free, her endometriosis is back, causing even more pain than before to her body and is now requiring another surgery.

I never thought I would make a GoFundMe for something like this, but we are really going through it right now and still trying to financially recover from the previous procedures in the past and from her surgery she had last year.

I love my wife so much and unfortunately, there is no cure for endometriosis, but the surgery will help her with the pain symptoms and that's all I want for her is to not be hurting as much as she has been.
