Help Amanda’s sheep sanctuary ❤️

Hi, my name is Jill. I am fundraising for my friend Amanda who has a sanctuary for Gotland sheep, renowned for their silver fleece and who trace their origins to the Vikings! At first Amanda and husband Barry wanted to breed and sell these beautiful animals, but quickly decided they could not bear that they could end up in the food chain. They changed to a non breeding sanctuary giving their flock a home for life. More were saved, and recently the old ram broke through the fence, and 14 beautiful but unplanned lambs were born. Now Barry is in frail health and Mandy is not only his full term carer, and has no assistance with the care of her flock. They  struggle with only his pension and carers allowances to pay vets, feed and household expenses. The old barn needs a new roof, to keep the older sheep snug and dry, and the floor needs rubber mats to overlay the floor to protect little hooves from the mud. This fund raiser is to help them with roof and general repair of outbuildings so needed for the sheep.
