Help Amani and her family survive in Gaza

Hi, my name is Melody (France) and I am fundraising for my friend Amani (@amani.ameer.33 on instagram) and her family in Gaza. Amani's family have had their house destroyed and their dreams shattered after the beginning of this genocide. Amani was studying softwares and databases and was supposed to graduate this year, but her university got bombed like all the other universities of Gaza. Amani's father got shot and the bullet is still lodged in his back. Surgery is not available at the moment, and he is only surviving on painkillers. In the north of Gaza, famine and lack of medication are creating dangerously unsanitary conditions. The family is feeding itself by cooking any plants they find in the ground, not knowing if they are toxic. Amani suffers from severe anaemia and PTSD from her living conditions.

Update: Amani how now completed her university degree online, and has graduated with software engineer degree ❤️ A new miracle baby, Ameer, was born on the 07/01/2025. The family now has a new responsibility to care for this newborn and provide him with the best care they can.

Update: Now that the ceasefire has taken effect, Amani and her family have tried to return to their family home. However, it was more destroyed then they had imagined (see pictures). Currently living at a relatives place, they need money to rebuild a home from the rubble.

All the funds will be donated to Amani and her family in the aim to rebuild their home in Gaza, and be able to live the best they can despite the horrors they've seen and endured.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Melody (France) et je collecte des fonds pour mon amie Amani et sa famille à Gaza. Leur maison a été détruite et leurs rêves brisés après le début de ce génocide. Amani étudiait les logiciels et les bases de données et devait être diplômée cette année, mais son université a été bombardée comme toutes les autres universités de Gaza. Le père d'Amani a été blessé par balle, et la balle est toujours logée dans son dos. Une chirurgie n'est pas disponible pour le moment, et il survit uniquement grâce aux anti-douleurs. Dans le nord de Gaza, la famine et le manque de médicaments créent des conditions dangereusement insalubres. La famille se nourrit en cuisinant les plantes qu'elle trouve au sol, sans savoir si elles sont toxiques. Amani souffre d'une anémie sévère et de stress post-traumatique en raison de ses conditions de vie.

Tous les fonds seront donnés à Amani pour qu'elle puisse acheter de la nourriture et des médicaments immédiatement. S'il reste de l'argent, ils utiliseront ces fonds pour reconstruire leur maison à Gaza.
