Help Amari Edwards Have A Deserving Memorial

On the 2nd of September 2021, Amari, the son of Damien and Elaina was brought into this world. Everything about Amari was perfect from his big blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled to his beautiful bright big smile that was instantaneously contagious.

Amari’s arrival made Damien and Elainas lives complete, Amari’s big sister Ameliahna absolutely loved her brother. She protected him, kissed him and played with him. They instantly clicked. There family was perfect. Damien and Elaina constantly doted over him, showered him with love, and shared him for all their loved ones to adore. Amari’s beautiful self was loved by all who got to meet him. The joy Amari brought to all of our lives cannot be described in words, but is certainly felt in all of our hearts.

On the 10th of February 2022 this horrible world dealt a blow no one could ever imagine. On this day, Elaina received a phone call that she would have never expected to get, an absolute tragedy and unexpected event that lead to Amari’s stay in the PICU where Amari fought as hard as he could until God took him into his arms February 12th, 2022 at 1:34 pm you gained your little angel wings and left this world for the final time. Shattering everyone’s hearts, and crushing Damien and Elainas world in the blink of an eye where no day would ever be the same.

No words can begin to describe the torture Damien and Elaina are going through. A life cut so short, much sooner than any one of us expected. Amari was and forever will be the light of Damien and Elaina’s lives.

Elaina and Damien have not asked for anything but time, time to grieve the loss of their stunning little ray of sunshine. We as family will forever be here for them, to love, cherish and support them through the good times and the bad.

As for now, the absolute least we can all do is to try and raise some money. Raise some money to not only help Damien and Elaina pay for the cost of Amari’s funeral, but to enable Damien and Elaina to take as much time away from work and the world as they need, and to relieve all of the financial stress associated with this absolute horrific tragedy.

We ask you as their family, their friends, their acquaintances, or even strangers, to dig deep and donate whatever you can to allow them to take as long as they need to grieve. From the bottom of our hearts, we ask you to contribute anything you can no matter how small.
