Help Amaya Guthrie's Family Recover From Devastating Crash

Donation protected

It is with heavy hearts and unrelenting grief that we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Amaya Michelle Guthrie, 24. Amaya was a passenger in the vehicle on the afternoon of December first 2024, when another driver ran a red light and ended her life on the intersection between South Fulton Parkway and Cedar Grove Rd.

Sunrise: July 27, 2000. Sunset: December 1, 2024.

The Guthrie family is enduring an unthinkable loss; after investing a sizeable amount of family savings moving and supporting her new baking business, they lost their daughter through a senseless moving violation. We are coming together as a community to support them during this time of sorrow.

Amaya was truly a joy to everyone who knew her, always smiling and full of laughter; the goal of this fundraiser is to lessen the financial burden the Guthrie family faces so that they can instead focus on remembering and celebrating Amaya's beautiful life, and work towards healing together from this tragedy with those closest to her.

Every donation, no matter how small it may be, is a profound gesture to show your love and support for this innocent life lost. Funerals in Atlanta on an average cost between $15,000-$30,000, proceeds will help with flowers, funeral costs, and memorial services.
