THEY ACTUALLY FOUND SOMETHING!

So, as most of you probably already know, my sister Amber really drew the short straw when it comes to her health. She's always had problems - diabetes, crohns, migraines - but lately, things have taken a drastic turn for the worse. Her blood pressure has consistently been at stroke level for the last year. I'm talking 190s/130s. Her iron levels are through the roof, and her hormone levels are so low they may as well be nonexistent. She's a hot mess, and the doctors here in Spokane have been coming up empty for damn near a year now.
The problems she's having are serious, they're debilitating, and they're scary. She's in constant pain, unable to function or take care of herself or her family. Sustained hypertension damages the arteries, the heart, the brain, the kidneys, the eyes...and that's if you don't have a stroke or a heart attack.
There is something wrong, and the doctors here can't find it. That's not a criticism; it's what they've told her.
She was recently referred to specialists in Seattle. So far, these doctors seem to have more ideas on what to test for, but between gas, hotels and the medical costs themselves, it's getting to the point where she can't afford to make appointments to continue seeing them.
Travel cost for each Seattle trip, at a minimum, is $300. Medication copays cost upwards of $120. Specialist copays are $50, urgent care visits are $80 and that's not including the cost of tests or the numerous ER visits.
That, friends and family, is where I hope we can help. Please help me create a medical and travel fund for Amber so that she can get the answers she needs.
