Let's help Amber McRae on her healing journey

Hello everyone! I have created this gofundme to help my lifelong friend, Amber McRae.

While in the US she was hit by a car. This hit and run accident left her with a broken back, head injury, damaged lung and 4 broken ribs. She is currently paralyzed and stuck in the hospital in the US (***Edit- she initially had no feeling or movement in her legs at all but since returning to Canada has progressed to being able to use a walker and back brace to get around a little bit which is extremely positive!***). Her travel insurance is only going to cover a small portion of the extremely expensive medical costs incurred in the US and she still needs to get back to Canada as well.

Once back in Canada she will have a long recovery journey ahead of her that will take time for her to heal and be able to fully walk/work again.

She has already received one surgery and is currently very focused and working hard at being able to stand and take steps and anyone that knows Amber knows that she is a very strong willed and determined person!!

Amber is a loving mother to her daughter and lives a very active lifestyle. Let's help Amber with her medical bills, travel expenses and recovery journey!!
