Help Amber Overcome Stage 4 Cancer

Hi, my name is Amber, I'm 32 and earlier this year I was diagnosed with Lymphoma, Stage 4 cancer.

My story starts in 2023 when I began to have troubles with my leg. Mild at first, I'd only missed some work here and there. Then about half way through the year I began to experience worsening nerve pain down my left leg. My doctor lead me to believe it was my lower back, a pinched nerve or bulging disc. Sent me off to physical therapy. When that did nothing for my pain I had to convince my doctor that I needed to get an xray. Once again, the focus was on my lower back. Even though I questioned why not my leg. From there the xray didn't show much. Again I had to convince my doctor for more tests, an MRI. That couldn't be scheduled any sooner than the end of Jan 2024. By mid December, walking was excruciating and I had no choice but to take medical leave from work. Bedbound while waiting for the MRI, the day finally came and that very afternoon I get a call from my doctor who urged me to go to the ER immediately. The MRI of my lower back barely showed my hip but in that showed abnormal bone marrow, a sign of cancer.

Everything happened quickly after that. Appointment after appointment. Loads of bloodwork, Xrays, CTs, more MRIs. Two hospital stays. Finding out I have an impact fracture in my knee. Then at last a bone marrow biopsy and lymp node biopsy later and I've finally got a diagnosis. It's for sure cancer. I started chemo fairly quick and I'm 4 rounds in as I'm writing this. Unfortunately chemo doesn't reach the bones so easily and I'll need radiation afterwards. Then physical therapy to hopefully be able to walk again.

I'm trying very hard to remain positive and focus on healing, but things are rough and today I was fired from Petsmart. Now I'll lose my discount on our pets food and supplies on top of having to pass off other bills to my boyfriend.

I truly hate asking for money because I know everyone is struggling these days, but I greatly appreciate any help and support we can receive. Thank you for reading my story!
