Help Amber Recover From A Vicious Tragedy

Warning: This post may contain content that is difficult to read.
Amber is my best friend. Many of you know her. She is a nanny and a home health care nurse. Wednesday night Amber was brutally attacked in her home. She was held captive and raped repeatedly. Her attacker cut all of her hair off with a kitchen knife and threatened to cut her fingers off. Through all of this he viciously beat her in her head, back and face. After making her shower and change her clothes he kidnapped her and took her to his home where he continued to sexually assault her. His exact words were "you know you are going to die tonight." As her attacker was taking her to the car again he stopped to slash someone's car tires. At that moment Amber ran to the car and locked herself inside. She managed to escape and drive herself to a local restaurant where they called 911. Amber spent the night in the hospital and was released and left town to stay with family. I am asking for donations for Amber on behalf of myself, her friends and family, so that she can take the time needed to heal physically but most importantly mentally. The PTSD and mental anguish that will come with this horrible crime is beyond imaginable. She will need extensive therapy and time. Any and all money donated will be used to pay her bills while she doesn't work. She will use it to have a new security system installed change her locks and obviously for any and all medical expenses. Amber is the sweetest, kindest most caring, giving soul I have ever met. Anyone who knows her will agree. She always has a smile on her face and can find the good in everyone and everything. No one should ever have to suffer from a crime of this magnitude but for sure she was the last person to ever deserve this. All she keeps telling me is that she is glad it happened to her and not someone who wouldn't have survived the attack. My heart aches and tears are streaming as I write this. I know this request comes at a time where so many are in need after Hurricane Ian but Amber needs and deserves this help more than anyone I know. Every little bit helps and from the bottom of my heart I thank anyone who can help in advance for being so gracious. If you are unable to help financially please share and send prayers for her recovery. Thank you.
