Help Amber Virginia with Car Accident Expenses
On January 31st, Amber was driving in Baltimore City and was hit head on by a truck that lost control on a hill and crossed into her lane because of the severe weather conditions. Amber was sent to shock trauma for internal bleeding and had to stay overnight until she was stabilized. She is suffering from a large hematoma in her abdomen, and significant damage from whiplash. Nobody else was in Amber’s car. Amber’s car was pronounced a total loss.
Luckily Amber will make a full recovery but unfortunately she has a long road to recovery ahead of her. She is going to be unable work for at least the first few weeks of her recovery. After that she will need physical therapy long term. Amber works as a part-time Nanny and works is a delivery driver as a side hustle. Prior to this incident, as most people can relate, Amber had been dealing with a loss of income due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She had no choice but to cut her hours at her Nanny position so that she could support her son’s virtual learning schedule. She depends on that income to not only take care of herself and her bills, but also her son Julian, who is is going to be 13 in March.
In addition to her normal monthly expenses, we are preparing for the possibility of out of pocket car and medical expenses that may not be covered under the at-fault driver’s insurance.
Anyone who knows Amber, understands that she would do anything for those in need. It’s time for us to return the favor. I am asking for everyone who has ever been lucky enough to be in this beautiful soul’s presence, to donate and or share this post to help her get through this next couple of months.
