Help Amelia Battle Cancer

Donation protected

On March 20, 2020 Jinxy, Jeremy and Agnes received the worst news parents can get; their daughter Amelia was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian dysgerminoma, an aggressive form of cancer. This news could not have come at a worse time with COVID-19 forcing many, including both Amelia's parents, to stay home from work with no income. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of high cost medications and chemotherapy as well as home supplies such as wigs that are not covered under her insurance.

A letter from Amelia's mother Jinxy:
"Amelia is my heart, my soul.

I'm not sure what I did to deserve her but I thank the universe every day for her.

Amelia is the most intuitive little girl you'll ever meet; she's such a goofy little girl and will make everyone laugh so hard just from her straightforward approach and honesty in life.

Amelia is such a strong little girl. Between her brother and her wrestling around and standing up to bullies to make sure no one's ever getting hurt. Making sure the right thing is being done as a little activist for herself and others.

Amelia loves art and music. Since she was about 1 she would always play 'Beat It' from Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'.

I'll have to say, these are songs that have been played nonstop in the hospital to keep the spirits high. Along with drawing anything with lots of colors.

Amelia will be going through heavy chemotherapy and ultimately surgery to remove the cancerous tumor.

This has been a roller coaster of emotions for all of us, as we thought she had a type of cancer that only gave her a 20% success rate. Luckily we received a call later saying that wasn't the case. She has been diagnosed with a type of cancer called dysgerminoma (germ cell) that's not only aggressive but also in stage 3.

We as a family could never imagine our lives without her. Thankfully the new treatment plan and new diagnosis has changed her outcome to an 80% survival rate. Throughout this journey and treatments, we as a family cannot afford everything and would greatly appreciate anything for Amelia.
Our family wants to thank you so much!"
