Help Amelie experience Italy while studying abroad

Dear friends and family,

I am currently a sophomore at Academy of the Redwoods. It is a great high school located on the campus of College of the Redwoods, in Eureka, California. I like it there and I'm getting a great education, but I am ready to challenge myself! I have recently decided to study abroad in Italy. I have already been accepted into the program, which will begin on September 5th, 2024 and end in early July of 2025. I will be spending the entirety of my junior year of high school in Italy. While I am there, I will be living with a host family, and attending school at an Italian high school. There will also be opportunities for me to go on smaller trips, or excursions, while in Italy. This is a very exciting experience for me. I am excited to learn a new language, experience a new culture, and grow as a person. However, this program is quite expensive. I'm hoping you can help with some financial support, both for the program itself and for the excursions that are outside of the initial program cost. If you are able to donate any amount of money, I would be forever grateful for your contribution to my future.
