Title: Help amidst grief for the sudden loss of my Mother Eula Davis
I am the daughter of Eula Davis. On July 16, 2024, my mother Eula Davis was found unresponsive in her home. After arrival to the hospital, CAT Scans revealed a massive hemorrhagic stroke, of which approximately 30 milliliters of blood now occupy her brain. After fighting for her life for five days in the ICU, my mom, Eula Davis succumbed to the brain injury, having never opened her eyes, or uttering a word. Our hearts are shattered by the sudden loss of our mom. We are grateful to the measures taken by the hospital every step of the way.
Eula was a devoted and loving mother to her 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was a strong advocate of helping those who could not help themselves as evidenced by taking care of her mentally impaired grandchild for 25 plus years. She was a mother and counselor to extended family and friends, a pillar of strength and kindness to everyone who knew her. Mom’s life was a testament to unconditional love and selfless dedication. Her smile and warm spirit touched everyone around her, making the world a better place just by being in it.
The speed at which Mom passed, has left an unimaginable void that words cannot express, and a loss that her family and friends will forever feel. In the days after her death, it became clear that there were few measures put in place by Mom to help guide the family for such a time as this. Now, without her, the family is facing an unimaginable heartbreak and overwhelming financial burdens. I am reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, for financial support. Your generous contributions will go directly towards funeral expenses, day-to-day living costs, mental health counseling for her young adult grandchildren, minor aged great grandchildren and repaying mom’s debts. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Please help us lay her to rest with dignity and honor during this incredibly difficult time by donating to this fund. Your support will ensure the family can lay her to rest with a little less monetary strain. We are trying to raise the funds by August 6, 2024 to meet the deadlines of August 10, 2024.
Finally, I ask for your prayers for our family that God protects and guides us as we move forward in this world without our mom, grandmother, friend, advisor, nurturer, protector, caregiver, healthcare provider, role model, and giver of love, wisdom, and strength.
