Support Amir Ali’s family to get through this time

Amir Ali was diagnosed with end stage congestive heart failure in June 2019 and has been battling the illness for the past seven months. These issues left Amir unable to support his family, and he had to use his life savings to pay for the ongoing treatments. On one of his most recent visits to the Memorial Herman (MC) on January 17, 2020, he was informed that his heart was working less than 10% that he needed medical intervention immediately and was admitted to the ICU. Due to the rate at which Amir’s health was deteriorating the doctors said it would be difficult to find a donor within time and decided that an LVAD, (an alternative to a heart transplant), would be a better approach.
The LVAD procedure was a success but the
doctors have said that he must stay in the hospital for recovery for a minimum of another four weeks. The combined cost of both the procedure and the
stay is more than $200,000 which is adding an
enormous burden on the family.
We ask all of our friends and family to support
Amir Ali and his family by assisting them in
covering the costs for his LVAD surgery & other
medical bills.There is also a long recovery time,
and any bit of donation will help Amir’s family
greatly.
All funds will be distributed to Amir’s wife, Safia Ali, to help her and the girls, so the family will get through this difficult time.
