Help Amir Continue His Education In Gaza

"I am Amir, a high school student, and I want to leave Gaza to complete my studies. Save me from genocide. I want to leave immediately."

These are the words of Amir, who is currently living in Gaza. Amir was a high school student when the genocide began and completely upended his life. Initially wanting to evacuate, recent escalations have led him to continue his life and education in Gaza. As the genocide continues, he and his family of eight have arising needs that must be met. So far, we have raised enough money for help him to buy a laptop, books for school, a tent, continued supplies of food, medication, eSims, rent, and many other necessities for the entire family.

There are rising and fluctuating needs that we as a community ought to support. For example, Ameer's brother Qusay has recently been hospitalized due to a preexisting medical condition and is in need of money for treatment. Displacements often happen due to military activity, with fluctuating rent prices. Inflation is always at play as well, with a kilo of meat being $50 and a kilo of vegetables $30.

Most pressing is the upcoming winter. He and his family have no winter clothes. With the upcoming cold, adequate clothing is needed to ensure that he and his family maintain their health. This will be roughly a need of $1000 to be met.

Please ask yourself: what can I do to help? Look at your day to day routine and think, what about my habits today can I change to impact the lives of others? What sacrifice, no matter how big or small, can be made? All is takes to make real change are small, selfless answers to questions like these.
