Hi, I am Sarah.

1. Who is Sarah?
Sarah is the mother of the child Amir.
Amir is a child who was born with a lack of oxygen, which led to muscle weakness and a lack of white matter in the brain.
Amir now lives with his family in Deir al-Balah after their displacement from Rafah.

2. Can you explain to me more about Amir’s condition?
When Amir was born, he suffered from a lack of oxygen, and Amir became weak in his muscles and could not move any part of his body. Amir has a special diet. He eats only ground food because his jaw muscles are weak. He needs special medications.

3.How did the war in Gaza affect Amir's health?
Before the war, Amir used to go to physical therapy centers, and after years of physical and physical therapy and intensive sessions, Amir was able to take his first steps without instability. But as soon as the war started, Amir’s tragedy began, as the lack of medicines negatively affected Amir’s health, and the closure of physical therapy centers made Amir’s condition worse. Now, after 300 days of war and nearly a year, Amir’s health condition has deteriorated and he is unable to walk due to the lack of medicine, the lack of physical therapy sessions, the lack of food, health pollution, and the spread of diseases, epidemics and viruses, as Amir and his family now live in a tent and instability in a one place where Amir’s family has been displaced more than once from Place to place inside the Gaza Strip to escape the danger of war

4. What is the goal of the campaign?
This campaign is dedicated to treating Amir.
Amir's condition has now deteriorated after he was able to walk after a long period of treatment, but due to the war on Gaza, the closure of physical therapy centers, and the lack of medicines. Amir's health condition began to deteriorate and he is now unable to move.

5. How will the campaign help Amir?
The funds that the campaign will collect will be allocated to removing Amir and his family from Gaza and completing his treatment journey. In addition, Amir needs special food and high expenses because he only eats special food due to the state of relaxation of all the muscles in his body, and in light of the war and lack of income, Amir’s family has become unable to provide for his food needs and expenses, as was the case before the war.

6. How is money getting into Dair Al Balah?
I thought banks are not operating in Gaza?
Currently, there are two working ATMs in Dair Al Balah that are connected to the Bank of Palestine and operated with internet connection. This means they only work when the internet works in Gaza, but they do have access to ATMs and money in Dair Al Balah. There are also still money exchange places that are still operating.

7. I want to donate but I don’t have much money.
thats understood. Please spread the link to family, friends and anyone you think can spare a few dollars for this campaign!! Even sharing it everywhere will help Amir and his family collect donations to provide for Amir’s needs and get him out of Gaza to complete his treatment!
8. I have another question not answered here.
