Help Amma with living costs for circus school

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far I am so so grateful. I am currently in my last few weeks of term and will graduate at the end of the month! I would really appreciate if anyone is able to make any last donations even if its only a few pounds as I am £100 short for my last months rent.

I am training in acrobatics, dance, aerials, and theatre and we have started working on creations for our end of year show! Everyone has been very welcoming and I'm living with 5 other lovely circus students. Training at INAC is very valuable, thanks to the wonderful tutors my skills are really progressing as is my development as a performer.

I am hoping that some of you may be able to help me once again. My accommodation costs are €330 per month and I have 4 months left to pay totalling €1230, I would be greatful for any donations you could make or I would be especially greatful if you could share my gofundme with family and friends.

Hi, my name is Amma and I am 18 years old, I have just been accepted onto the technical year at INAC Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo. INAC is a circus school in Portugal where I hope to continue my circus education and training this academic year.

I started doing circus when I was 12 years old at Tuyo Circus Arts in Nottingham and instantly loved it. I started teaching in the childrens classes at Tuyo when I was 14 and I really enjoyed this as its nice to help the children learn circus, sharing that journey with them. When I was 15 I got accepted onto the Centre for Advanced Training scheme with the National Centre for Circus Arts in London. The CAT scheme is a training scheme for students aged 11-18 who demonstrate exceptional potential in performing and circus arts. Getting on to the CAT scheme meant I was able train up to 18 hours a week which enabled me to train in many disciplines, my favourites being rope and trapeze. From this I have had many opportunities such as being able to perform at National Circus in the summer shows, and train in disciplines such as chinese pole, german wheel, flying trapeze and dance.

The funding from the CAT scheme has meant I have been able to access training at both Tuyo and Circus Hub, both in Nottingham. I have done solo and group performances at Circus Mash in Birmingham, Circus Hub, Tuyo, and the National Centre for Circus Arts. I enjoy choreographing my own routines for solo performances, I also enjoy the fun that comes with group performances. I am performing at Tilt Festival in Birmingham on the 15th of July and in London at Hoxton hall on the 29th of July.

Unfortunately due to Brexit and the UK no longer being in the European Union I cannot take out any student loans to help fund my tuition or living cost whilst there. This means that my tuition fees and living costs have to be paid by myself and my family without any external funding. Now I have finished college I will be working full time over the summer to raise some money myself, to go with my wages from teaching at Tuyo.

The money I raise from this page will be used towards my tuition and accomodation.
