Help & Hope as Debbie Mohr battles Colon Cancer
Donation protected
Help Deb, Gregg and family find a way forward as they continue to wholeheartedly pursue healing!
Our friend Debbie Mohr was diagnosed with Advanced Stage Colorectal Cancer and began treatment in November 2017. If you know Debbie, she goes at any undertaking with her whole heart and her fight against this cancer has been no different. She has had some unprecedented success, but also continued challenges and recently restarted an ongoing chemotherapy routine. In addition, husband Gregg has been battling afib/heart issues and will be hospitalized this week for testing and observation as doctors try another fix.
Gregg and Debbie would be the first to say they've been blessed in many ways through this trial and have both projected so much positivity. But in truth the nearly three years of medical expenses and the associated costs that can come with some cancer situations have accumulated and buried them financially.
In short, the financial stress is adding to their already difficult situation.
Initially Debbie made it through seven weeks of radiation and three months of intravenous chemotherapy followed by a year of maintenance chemo. Thankfully she went into remission, but is now again in a long term chemo plan every two weeks. Dealing with a Stage IV diagnosis with a spread to her liver, she has used every mainstream medical opportunity as well as every integrative medical option, including a naturopathic oncologist, radically changing diet, exercise, vitamins, and supplements.
High deductibles year after year, co pays, supplements, meds, lost wages and even a wig not covered by insurance have slowly added up and created a stressful situation.
We'd love to lend a hand. Will you join us? Any amount will help them chip away at the mountain of medical debt that is crushing them right now.
