Help amputate Bean’s leg

Hello, i am making this go fund me for my daughter’s cat, Bean. He is a 2 year old male cat that was a stray. My daughter rescued him from a dumpster at her work. Unfortunately, where she is living they won’t allow the cat to be indoors. My daughter was able to make a vet appointment and he got his shots that he needed. Bean absolutely loved being outside and roaming around. One night, he was not out in his little box outside her door and she was worried. She kept checking all night for him to come back. Around 11pm she checked his box and he was in there. He did not want to come out, but she was able to pull him and noticed he was bleeding and looked like he was attacked by another animal and was hurt. She cleaned him up as much as she could. The next day she took Bean to the vet. They said his leg was so swollen and wouldn’t be able to get accurate X-rays. Bean however did have a very high fever. They shaved around his wound and got it cleaned up. He was sent home with pain meds and antibiotics. Bean has been living with me and had enjoyed being an indoor cat while he recovers. Bean has been getting around well but still has not put ANY pressure on his leg. Today, we took bean back to the vet and got his leg x-ray. We were thinking it was just out of place and they would be able to pop it back in. Unfortunately we got the worst news. Some heartless person SHOT Bean. When they showed us the x ray with the bullet in his little shoulder it was heartbreaking it had shattered all his little bones in his shoulder. Bean is going to have to be a 3 legged cat. He is going to need his leg amputated .
