Unfortunately, I begin these words with more sadness and pain. Today, I am sending an urgent appeal to you on behalf of my grieving family to revive a small part of the hope that we lost because of this unjust and cruel war. My name is Amro Alzaeem. I am 19 years old. I am sending my appeal to you from the heart of Gaza while I am in the depths of my depression and pain after we lost everything. I am undertaking this fundraiser after much thought and hesitation as all international institutions have abandoned us so I find myself in a desperate situation. I am looking for your support to evacuate my family of 7 people from Gaza. During this war, we are exposed to all methods of genocide, which lasted more than 200 days. We suffer from a lack of food, medicine, contaminated water, and unhealthy food. The conditions have become unbearable, and I fear for the safety of my family. I am looking for your support to help my family who is currently located within the war-threatened zone. Rafah. The ongoing conflicts have wreaked havoc on their lives, leaving them homeless, vulnerable and facing a constant threat of death. I am powerless to help them escape this terrible situation and provide them with a chance at a safer and more stable future. However, as the war in Gaza continues to escalate, we finally come to the realization that our only chance of survival is to escape the area.

*My family's suffering: They have endured unspeakable suffering, watching the destruction of their homes and the loss of their loved ones. Fear and took their toll on their physical and mental health They lost their dreams and had no hope left but survival Alive . My family consists of five adults and two children, under 14 years old.

I College student ambitious striving for his dream. I was able to join the University of Palestine and completed the first level in the field of multimedia, and I was good in my studies. I was forced to work in one of the malls in Gaza in order to be able to pay my university tuition fees, and I had a great passion for achieving that. I was supposed to graduate this year, but unfortunately The war had a different effect on this, as my university was completely destroyed.

My father, Mahmoud Alzaeem, 50 years old, has a coffee shop project in Gaza City. I am sorry to inform you that the shop, which was his only source of livelihood, was completely destroyed, and as the war continued, he remained without a source of income for 7 months.

Unfortunately, the rest of my sisters are children were not able to complete their studies either because their schools were destroyed, which made them deprived of their right to education and play like the rest of the children in the world.

All my family members have lost their jobs since the beginning of the war. They had to flee their homes in northern Gaza, moving from one area to another in search of safety. They left their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs, and unfortunately, the family home was completely bombed and destroyed. The attached photos of the devastation will give you a glimpse of the extent of their loss.

*Current situation: Until now, my family has been displaced several tim*es, enduring unspeakable hardships. We had no choice but to sleep in a tent in the street, made of nylon and some wood. We suffer from overwhelming conditions of cold at night and heat during the day due to the bad place that does not... Fit to live. Now, they find themselves in Rafah, their last refuge, living in inhumane conditions. The constant threat of invasion and attack on Rafah hovers over them, putting their lives in greater danger.

*Ask for Help: I ​​started this fundraising campaign to urgently raise money to help my family leave Gaza as soon as possible. The total cost of ensuring their departure is $30,000. This amount includes $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child for departure and evacuation fees, which must be paid to an Egyptian delegation who facilitates their safe passage. After arriving at their destination, they will need financial support to cover basic living expenses, including accommodation, food, transportation and healthcare, in order to ensure stable employment. My family will need approximately $2,000 per month for three months to cover basic living expenses, and requires an additional $8,000 for clothing and urgent medical needs plus a page fee of 2.9% + 30 cents per donation of approximately $2,000. The total amount for all costs is estimated at $46,000 USD.
