Help AMS Clinic & Birth Center for Christmas!!!

They say if you don’t ask, you won’t receive… So today, I’m asking for your help in getting the AMS Clinic & Birth Center some needed equipment and supplies!
The AMS Birth Center has continued to grow this past year, and we anticipate an influx of “COVID” babies in the next few months. As of last week, the AMS Birth Center staff have assisted 425 women in childbirth, provided over 1,500 prenatal care visits, made numerous ambulance transfers, provided family planning education and services, offered obstetric ultrasound, and assisted numerous other women in women’s health care.
In addition, the outpatient department has increased their patient load this past year. Thanks to a generous donation, the inpatient ward was renovated and opened back up in September. Sadly, the roof had become infested with bats, making the ward uninhabitable. The roof was removed and a cathedral ceiling/roof put in its place, the building was repainted, and some cracks were repaired, in addition to new beds, mattresses and cabinets.
With the ever-increasing patient load and the potential for a significant increase in deliveries in the next few months, we would like to prepare by adding some needed supplies. Due to COVID, the AMS Clinic did not receive the generous support of supplies often brought by volunteer groups – especially the newborn baby supplies. We have now sourced used newborn clothing and blankets – but have the increased cost of purchasing these items.
Some of the items we are looking to purchase include: vital sign machine/trolley, IV poles, blankets, laboratory microscope, newborn baby kit supplies, women’s health stainless steel instruments, seating for waiting patients…
