Help Amy Afford Life-Saving Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
This is Amy and Bailey. Amy is a retired seamstress and animal rescuer who is a member of the board of a local animal rescue. She is a mother, who just 2 years ago got out of an abusive marriage. She has lupus and fought for years for disability payments after becoming unable to work.
She was told by a nurse practitioner months ago that she had cancer based on some scans and blood tests. She has spent the months since going to various doctors, getting multiple biopsies, and flying across the country to see an oncologist when oncologists here refused her referral since the biopsies were negative. She was just diagnosed with Large B Cell Lymphoma. She will be starting treatment soon.
Being on disability limits the amount of money she can have at once, and cancer is ungodly expensive to treat. As her family, her roommate, and the person who will be caring for her through this I am making this fund to ensure she can afford treatment and the related necessities she will need to survive this.
So many people care about this wonder, strong woman, and I deeply appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this, and help out.
