Amy Bachmeier started going to the Doctor in March for severe back pain. After many Doctor, Chiropractor, Physical Therapy and Massage therapy appointments, she had an MRI in June with life changing results. The MRI and additional testing showed the pain was caused by a tumor in her back resulting from Multiple Myeloma Cancer.
Lab results required Amy to be admitted to the hospital over a week ago. She is still in the hospital where they are trying to stabilize her lab results and start her treatment. The recommended treatment is 4 months of Chemotherapy and then a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic where she will need to stay at a hotel for 2-3 weeks.
The funds we are requesting are needed to help Amy with the resulting medical costs and bill payment due to her being unable to work regularly at her job previously and in the future due to the pain and ongoing treatment.
