Hello, we are Missy Collins and Samantha Francis. Our dear friend Amy Bandy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We are reaching out to ask for help. We do not want Amy to worry about anything. If you have met Amy just once, you instantly love her. She would give the shirt off her back before asking for any help for herself.

Amy is a Kansas City native, generous and loyal friend with a great sense of humor. Amy has spent the last 15 years working in the health care field in various roles. She is currently full-time at a dermatology office in Overland Park.

Amy is a single mom to her 7-month-old son, Kingston James. On their weekends, Amy and KJ enjoy activities like cooking, going to the park, volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and anything Kansas City Chiefs.

Over the last 30 days, Amy has had to endure mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, MRIs, and numerous office visits. Within the next few weeks, she will have surgery and begin chemotherapy. During this time, she is needed at home to recover and will lose her incoming income.
