Help Amy & Kai Adopt

Amy & Kai want to adopt a child! Their love story began 15 years ago while Amy was caring for Kai’s ailing father in a nursing home. Amy & Kai have been happily married for 13 years and want to expand their family. After trying to conceive for a year, they started fertility treatments. They were costly and ultimately unsuccessful.

After all the heartache, Amy felt called to adoption. Kai and Amy know they can provide a good home and life for a child. They signed with an adoption agency and were victims of a scam and two disrupted adoptions. They lost all the funds they invested and still are without a child.

Amy and Kai are fighting through their loss and heartache because they believe this journey will have a happy ending. They have exhausted their savings and taken out a second mortgage on their home. Amy and Kai are not the type to ask for help, but I know they need it. Amy spends her professional life helping people train, attain, and keep jobs. She goes above and beyond each day to make the lives of families better in our community. As a coworker of Amy, I’ve seen how much she sacrifices and works to help others.
