Help Amy Wheeler as She Awaits a Lifesaving Liver Transplant
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
My name is Jan Wheeler, and I am reaching out on behalf of my daughter, Amy Wheeler, who is facing the most critical battle of her life. Amy has been dealing with severe health issues (Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis) since she was just 10 years old, but now, her situation has become extremely dire. She is in urgent need of a liver transplant, and the toll on her health has made it impossible for her to work and support herself and her two children.
A Life on Hold Due to Critical Illness
Recently, Amy was rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego with a life-threatening kidney/bile duct infection that turned septic. She endures days of excruciating pain, dangerously high fevers, racing heart rate, and a severe drops in blood pressure which has landed her in the ICU. On top of that, she developed pulmonary edema, making it nearly impossible to breathe. While she fought through this terrifying ordeal, it has left her even more vulnerable as she awaits her transplant.
The Urgent Need for Support
Amy has exhausted all of her paid time off and has no financial cushion to fall back on. She lives in California with her two children—her adult daughter Isabel and teenage son Gabriel—where the cost of living is overwhelming. Without income, she is now at risk of losing her home. The burden of rent, utilities, medical bills, and daily expenses is crushing, and the stress is only making her recovery harder.
Amy has always been strong, independent, and hardworking, but now, she needs our help. Every dollar donated will go directly toward her housing, medical costs, food, and essential expenses to keep her and her children afloat while she fights for her life.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with Amy in this critical time.
With gratitude,
Jan Wheeler (Amy’s Mom)
