Help an 8th Grader Save Our Oceans from Plastic
Tax deductible
I'm raising funds as an 8th grader to tackle the devastating issue of plastic pollution in our oceans. As someone who's passionate about marine conservation, I've seen firsthand the harm that plastic waste is causing to our planet's ecosystems. From entangled sea turtles to choked coral reefs, the impact of plastic pollution is heartbreaking and alarming.
The facts are staggering: over 8 million tons of plastic waste enter our oceans every year, killing millions of marine animals and contaminating the food chain. If we don't take action now, it's estimated that there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050.
That's why I'm launching this fundraising campaign to support initiatives that work to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans. The funds raised will go towards:
Organizing beach cleanups and community events to raise awareness about the issue
Supporting research and development of innovative solutions to reduce plastic waste
Collaborating with local organizations to implement sustainable practices and policies that minimize plastic use
Every dollar counts, and your contribution will bring us one step closer to a plastic-free ocean. Let's work together to protect our planet's most vital resource and ensure a healthy, thriving ocean for future generations.
Goal: $500
