Help an Adoptive Dad Replace His Art Tablet
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Dan and my wife and I are the adoptive parents of two girls that came to us through foster care.
We had them for about two years in foster care before we were able to adopt them.
Before we got the girls, I was an amateur digital artist and had a Samsung tablet I would sketch on from time to time.
One day as I was getting the girls into my car, I left it on the roof of my SUV and forgot about it as I was making sure the girls were buckled in their seats correctly and drove off.
That was about 2 years ago at this point.

The tablet was a graduation gift and didn’t have an insurance or replacement plan on it.
Over time I left my art to the wayside as the girls were far more important to me.
Now my girls are a bit older and in school, I would love to get back into my passion for art.
I am looking at getting a new tablet, pen and other art supplies.
I am looking at the Surface Pro 8 as it will allow me to use the art programs I have already purchased and allow me to sketch and paint on the go like my previous Samsung tablet.
I like the Surface Pro 8 as it is portable, fast and fairly future-proof.
My oldest also likes to draw and paint and I want to be able to pass this down to her in a few years when she is older.
Thank you.
