Help an Afghan family who helped the USA

Hello, my name is McKenzie and I am in the 5th grade in Atlanta, Georgia. I am trying to fundraise $5,000 for an amazing Afghanistan family who is currently stuck in harsh conditions in Afghanistan. When my father was deployed to Afghanistan the father of this family was my father's daily interpreter. Since the father worked with the US, his family is currently in hiding in Afghanistan due to the current environment. We have kept in touch with him over the years and feel so bad for what his family is going through right now.  I want to raise money to help them get food, shelter, and clothing (what he said they need the most). This will be done via gift cards and Western Union. We also plan to contribute to an immigration attorney to help them through the process of getting a Visa/Passport since the US Embassy is no longer available in Afghanistan. We will pay the attorney directly on behalf of the family. I empathize with this family and when I talk to them they are always thankful for our calls.  They have never asked for a thing.  The father is so sincere and such a good person.  I hope I can make a difference in his family's life. I would be grateful for any donation to assist me with this mission. Thank you!
