Help an Aspiring Olympian Represent GB in Archery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Megan, I’m 21 years old, and I’ve been passionate about archery for the past nine years. This incredible sport has given me opportunities I never imagined—representing Great Britain at the junior level four times and earning international medals (one gold, one silver, and one bronze). Now, I’ve been selected to compete in the first leg of the European Grand Prix in Antalya, Türkiye and I'm in contention for the second leg of the Grand Prix in the Netherlands as well as the world university games in Germany. This marks my debut as a senior athlete representing GB.
These events are self-funded, with total costs of around £4,000, including travel, accommodation, equipment, and entry fees. It’s a significant financial challenge, but one I’m determined to overcome with your support.
Balancing my dream of competing at the highest level with my studies has been no small feat. I’m currently at university studying Sport, Health, and Exercise Sciences, with the ultimate goal of becoming a physiotherapist. Whether it’s training to perfect my craft or studying for my degree, I’m fully committed to both achieving academic success and pursuing my Olympic dream.
Archery has shaped who I am, teaching me discipline, resilience, and focus. With your help, I can take the next step toward my ultimate goal of competing at the Olympics, while continuing to excel in my education and career aspirations.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and if you’re able to support me, know that you’re not just funding international competition opportunities —you’re helping make a lifelong dream a reality.
