Help an Indigenous-Caribbean college student

Hello,

My name is Kiana, I'm an Indigenous-Caribbean woman from the Taino Community that is currently in school in pursuing a degree in Environmental Science with the focus in protecting and fighting for Indigenous Sovereignty, Wildlife and the Environment.

I created a Go-fund me because as of right now I do not have the full amount to pay for my classes that I need to take for next semester. Right now, my college has not been helpful and I've tried to come in an agreement with them to help assist me with this matter but they have decline. I do not qualified for any other resources.

I'm in a need for help and my dream/goal is to continue my education so that I can help my community and other communities in protecting their land, traditions and customs.

We need more educators like myself to be able to spread awareness and educate non-Indigenous individuals.
