Help Ana and Family

Our colleague at Saddle Rock School, Ana Castellon, has unexpectedly suffered the loss of her beloved husband. Ana is a Paraprofessional, who has dedicated her entire life to supporting children. She is a woman with a heart of gold and infinite patience.

Juan worked his whole life to provide for his precious family and to keep them safe. Juan was a military special agent in El Salvador. He was heavily involved in fighting the war on drugs and was unfortunately shot in the line of duty. He then moved to the United States and started his family with Ana. Recently, a routine operation (an appendectomy), turned dangerous due to the amount of scar tissue from his previous injuries. Right after the surgery Juan came down with pneumonia, and was put on a ventilator, but never recovered.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that sudden death brings, it also brings financial worries. We would like to try and ease some of this financial burden. These funds would go towards medical and funeral expenses, as well as everyday living costs to help Ana and her family, as Juan was the main source of income. This money will help the family during this devastating time.
