Help Ana Fight Leukemia
Donation protected
On Monday, April 10th, Kelsey and Warren Escobedo received devastating news regarding their 9-year-old daughter, Ana. The week prior, Ana had Covid and experienced a multitude of typical Covid symptoms but as time went on, she was not getting any better. They brought her into the clinic on Monday and explained what symptoms Ana was having and while a lot of the symptoms aligned with COVID, the doctor had concerns and decided to run a full blood panel to ensure there wasn't any sort of underlying issue. The results came back and the doctor provided them with the catastrophic news that Ana had a form of Leukemia and she needed to be emergency transported to the Children's Hospital in Omaha.
Over the last few weeks, Ana has officially been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, has undergone a bone marrow biopsy, had her chemo port inserted and has received multiple rounds of chemo.
Ana is the sweetest, kindest, most loving child that deserves nothing but the best. Even throughout this shocking, awful news, she continues to be the same sweet girl with a whole lot of courage and bravery.
Many of you have reached out asking how to help and it is so hard to know how to make this better for them, but the support of friends and family is going to be critical as they try to navigate what is ahead, which is why we decided to start this GoFundMe. We are hoping the fund will help to cover the expenses associated with the mountain they are about to climb. Please keep Ana, her parents, Kelsey & Warren, her brother & best friend, Espen, her Grandma Carol, and Uncle Cody in your thoughts and know that they are truly grateful for the outpouring of support they have already received. Calls and texts have not gone unnoticed even if they haven't been able to respond to everyone.
All funds will go directly to supporting Ana's treatment and expenses. Feel free to share this fundraiser using the hashtag #Ana'sArmy and say some extra prayers that will wrap them in love.
