Help and Healing after the loss of Heidi

Hello everyone, it is with great sadness that I have to unexpectedly change this GoFundMe page to a memorial/funeral expenses page for my stepmother, Heidi Readinger. This morning, our family was given the heart-breaking news that due to complications that occurred after surgery, our Heidi had passed away... we are all in shock and devastated at this time...
As some of you are aware, over a week ago Heidi had to visit the emergency room for excruciating back pain. Her back pain was so severe that at times, she would lose sensation in her legs and fall. She was admitted to the hospital and had to undergo various testing to determine the cause. Eventually, doctors were able to figure out the cause.
Heidi had major cervical vertebrae/disc issues that were pushing on her spinal cord, causing loss of sensation in her legs. The doctors told her that it was either major spinal surgery, or risk becoming paralyzed for the rest of her life. Having no other options, Heidi and her family decided to do the scary but necessary surgery.
Our beloved Heidi is now at peace with the Lord.
Any prayers or help at this time for her family is greatly appreciated and would allow us to focus on the healing after this tragedy.
