Help and Love for Wendy Wessling
Donation protected
Wendy Langfield Wessling, an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend could use our love and support. Wendy is my best friend from Holy Family HS, class of 1984. She is friends to so many and we want to help her in her journey to live each day in a more active way.
The purchase of a NuStep(a Recumbent Linear Cross Trainer), to use in her own home, is the only way Wendy can safely exercise independently. This is the only form of exercise that will help her reach a higher cardio rate. Being that this is not your typical everyday purchase, helping Wendy acquire one of her very own would be a great thing to do.
You see, Wendy is a miracle and an incredible gift from God. She was diagnosed 8 ½ years ago with Glioblastoma and given only 2 weeks-2 months to live. She has endured 4 brain surgeries, 2 strokes, a broken knee and pelvis(from her mobility issues). She can no longer walk on her own and is confined to a wheelchair when not receiving assistance to walk.
Wendy continues to give so much to everyone in her positive and humorous outlook on her life. I cannot begin to tell you how uplifting it is to have a conversation with Wendy or be in her presence with all she has endured. She commits every single day to keep herself well so she can be there for her family and friends.
So please spread Wendy’s story and show her our love, prayers, and support!
Thank you so much!
