Support The Lopez-Aguilar Family Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
I am writing this on behalf of my parents, Lesly & Richard, and brothers, Abraham & Steve.
On November 20th, my family was woken up to their apartment home in flames. Miraculously, they were able to safely evacuate. They left with only the clothes they had on. Not only do they need immediate help with finding housing and replacing essential belongings, but they also have the immense challenge of trying to restore their home and sense of stability. This is where we can step in to support them!
Throughout this loss, my family has been left in the dark. The owners are not responding for the damages after 10+ years of being loyal tenants. The cause of the fire is suspicious. ABC news reporters interviewed tenants and many of the residents believe it was done deliberately. As the ABC7 News article states, “A first-floor tenant found duct tape that had been mysteriously placed over his doorbell camera. He looked back at the clips and found someone hiding their face with papers as they placed tape over the camera.”
Your kindness and generosity is appreciated—no contribution is too small. All funds raised will go directly to my family. I appreciate everyone’s support and love.
I’ve attached the article link for those interested in reading more details regarding the fire at 274 Monticello ave.
