Help Andrea go to Wilderness Awareness School

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Andrea Villarreal and I am on my journey to become a wilderness mentor/guide. I have been participating in Journeys Rite of Passage experiences since I was 13 years old. I turned 20 this summer and I just did my first adult vision quest.   I have had many meaningful mentors in my life and my goal is to be able to give that back to the world. To do so, I long to deepen my connection with nature, myself, and learn how to bring my acquired wisdom to the community. I recently was accepted into the Wilderness Awareness school which is an amazing opportunity for me to strengthen my skills. I am so happy to find a place where I can learn in a setting with people who also want to deepen their relationships to nature. This is a first step in my education which will also include studying psychology at the University of Washington. My calling is to support kids and adolescents to work through their hardships, and to overcome any obstacles in the way of becoming the best versions of themselves. By modeling personal healing through making nature their ally and demonstrating how to find refuge in the wilderness. Moving to Seattle to attend this school and rent have cost more than I can earn immediately even with my job currently. So, your generosity would make a huge difference in being able to continue to make this dream come true this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
