Help Andrea Battle Cancer and Find a Home for her daughters

Donation protected
Good evening everyone, my name is Rosangelica, and I am organizing this GoFundMe for a dear friend/former co-worker. I met Andrea, aka Dre, at work at the company we both currently work at, which is AutoZone. She was such a delight to work with, always so dedicated and motivated even though she was going through the worst times in her life. I always look up to her and say, “Girl, I don't know how you do it.”

Andrea is currently a single mom of 2 beautiful teen girls ages 14 and 17 , she is battling stage 4 cancer in her lungs and brain. She has been battling it for a few years, but her cancer just got more aggressive and spread to her brain. She has been married for almost 20 years in an abusive relationship. Although her husband was abusive mentally and sometimes physically, she decided to give him many opportunities because she loves him. The man suffers from alcoholism but pretended to get help to get her to stay with him at his parents' house as he is a daddy's boy despite his age and bad addictions. She has been in and out of the hospital for chemo by herself with no support at all as her mother passed away a few months ago and siblings are far away with no way to support her, also her husband was always dealing with his own problems and adding more problems and stress to Andrea after long days at work.

Andrea was living at the in-laws' house along with the husband, and from one day to another, while visiting her hometown, she received a text to not come back. That she no longer had a home. They told her the nieces could come stay if they would like but not her because, according to them, they found out that while away from home, they were practicing their religion that is from Native Americans, and the husband's family is Jehovah's Witness. They used that as an excuse to keep her belongings from her and threatened her 17-year-old daughter, their niece, with taking away a car that was gifted to her if she chose to stay with her mother and not convert to Jehovah's Witness then and there.

Andrea was kicked out without notice, without mercy, without thinking about her deteriorating health situation, without any compassion. Her car broke down, and everything happened at the same time. Imagine that. She has been applying for apartments but keeps getting denied, and expenses keep piling up. Due to the failed marriage she had he ruined alot of things for her such as credit along with other things making her find a home right now very difficult.

Her daughters did not want to leave her side as they know how ill their mom is. They had the opportunity to stay with their dad but did not want to because they know the one that has been there for them since day one, despite everything, is their mom.

Please, please help me get Dre the help she needs. She has never been the one to ask for help, but things are really tough right now, and I suggested we do this to try to find her the help she needs. Anything helps: prayers, sharing the post—those things are free and greatly appreciated. Let's pray for Dre, for her to heal and be able to watch her daughters become the beautiful women they will be. Please, Lord, save her. I know my writing is not perfect; it is not my strong point. But I hope you guys took the time to read a little bit of Andrea's story. She has not given up and is fighting daily, so please help me help her lift some of that burden and weight off her shoulders so she can focus on healing and spending time with her kids instead of having to spend 50 hours plus a week somewhere to be able to survive no matter how she feels.

God bless you all. And may God multiply any blessings you send her way.
